1. After your reservation from is submitted and confirmed with an ORAC Gear Shop Attendent, Patrons will call ORAC at 270-745-6542 and inform of their arrival to pick up a rental
2. Patrons will stay in their vehicle while ORAC staff moves the rented items into the pickup/drop-off zone located on the loading dock behind The Preston Center
3. Once ORAC staff leaves the zone and stands a safe distance away to ensure there are no issues with pick up, the patron may retrieve their items and place them in/on their vehicle 
4. Smiles and waves will be exchanged 

1. Patrons will call ORAC at 270-745-6542 and inform staff of their arrival to return a rental
2. Patrons will be asked to unload their rental items on to the loading dock and return to their car
3. Staff will inspect equipment while customer is still on site
   1. If there are any damages ORAC Staff will call the customer to let them know about the damages or additional fees
      1. Customers will be able to pay for the fees over the phone before they leave
      2. Customers should anticipant no more than 15 minutes for gear inspection to occur *Depending on quantity of gear rented
   2. If there are no damages, the customer is free to go!
4. All rented items will be disinfected, and cleaned once the customer departs the loading dock area.

One Day: Any rental where the equipment is out only one night, or equipment returned the same day as pick up during ORAC Gear Shop Hours.

Weekend: Any rental where the equipment is out 2 or 3 consecutive nights. Example: Friday to Sunday, Friday to Monday or Thursday to Sunday.

Week: Any rental where the equipment is out for 7 consecutive nights. 

The renter must either be a WKU student, faculty or staff member, Preston Center member or must be sponsored by a Preston Center member.  Renters must have a valid account number.  All rentals must be returned on time to avoid a hold placed on the renter's account.  If the item is not returned (or late fee paid) within 1 week of the due date, there will be a registration hold placed on the account.  All rentals are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

All gear must be returned on time and in good order. 

• Late gear will be charged the daily use fee for the number of days past the return day.
• Any gear returned to the Preston Center front desk outside of ORAC operating hours will be subject to a day's late fee.
• Dirty or wet gear will be charged a $25/hr cleaning fee, based on the amount of time it takes our staff to return the item(s) to a rent-able condition. 
• Damaged or lost equipment will be subject to the appropriate replacement fee at the discretion of the ORAC staff. 

Customers are encouraged to reserve equipment prior to its use to assure availability. All reservations require payment in full. There are no refunds or transfers on canceled reservations.  Reservations can be made at the ORAC office or over the phone at (270)745-6545.  For customers reserving equipment over the phone, a credit/debit card will be required.
