Hear from graduate,
"The WKU Project Management course was a huge help in laying down the foundation of knowledge that the PMP test is built upon, and our instructor was very good at explaining the more complex concepts. I’m glad I did the course and passed the PMP certification examination on my first attempt. I don’t think I would have been nearly as prepared for the test if I had only done self-study."
The WKU Project Management Certificate program is an in-depth, interactive online learning experience that thoroughly covers the 5 core process groups of every project. The program is designed to prepare students for the globally recognized PMP® certification exam through the Project Management Institute (PMI®). WKU’s Project Management Certificate program also provides the 35 hours of training required to sit for the PMP® certification exam.
Even if you choose not to pursue your PMP® certification, any professional responsible for managing projects will benefit from this training. Whether in the private or public sector, individuals who have earned our project management certification have the expertise to lead successful projects.
Our online project management certificate includes live instructor-led online class sessions as well as self-paced modules, completed over a 4-week time period.
Week 1: Orientation on Monday from 6:30 – 7:30 pm, plus 11 hours of self-paced online modules to prepare for Week 2 of in-class online training.
Week 2: 6 hours of instructor-led online training sessions scheduled Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
Week 3: 11 hours of self-paced online modules to prepare for Week 4 of in-class online training.
