"The WKU Project Management course was a huge help in laying down the foundation of knowledge that the PMP test is built upon, and our instructor was very good at explaining the more complex concepts. I’m glad I did the course and passed the PMP certification examination on my first attempt. I don’t think I would have been nearly as prepared for the test if I had only done self-study."
The tuition for the project management certificate program is $2,200. This cost includes textbooks, access to the online learning modules for 6 months, all course materials, and a certificate of completion upon graduation. There are no additional costs or fees.
To Register: Click the “Register Now” link for one of the upcoming programs listed on this page. This will take you directly to the registration site for WKU’s Project Management Certificate Program. After establishing your new student account or logging into your existing account, select the “Certificate Programs” section under the “Career and Workforce Development” category to enroll.
We accept credit cards or you can request to be invoiced if paying by check or money order. For questions during the process or assistance in completing your enrollment, please contact a Program Advisor at (270) 282-2112.
WKU offers a discount for groups of 3 or more individuals. Contact a Program Advisor at email@example.com for more information about group or corporate discounts.
To enroll, you must submit the online registration and full form of payment. It is strongly recommended that you enroll at least two weeks prior to a course start date to ensure sufficient time to receive your textbook and course materials via mail prior to the class start.
As a non-credit certificate program, the Project Management Certificate program does not qualify for federal financial aid programs such as FAFSA or grant funding. Unfortunately, the majority of financial aid programs are only available to students attending full-time credit courses which usually lead to a degree.
Sallie Mae Continuing Education Student Loan
WKU has a relationship with Sallie Mae for the Continuing Education Student Loan.
To qualify and apply for a Sallie Mae loan:
Sallie Mae will evaluate your application and may recommend a co-borrower for those with low scores or minimal credit history.
Our office will be notified of the application and asked to verify and certify course information.
Any questions regarding your loan should occur directly with your loan processor. Refer to their website for contact information. For questions on how to register or to inquire about the loan process, please contact our office.
NOTE: Some programs sell out weeks before the start date. If you plan to apply for a loan, begin your application early to allow adequate processing time.
If you encounter a life event that might interrupt your participation in the WKU Project Management Certificate Program, please discuss the matter immediately with your student advisor. In the past, we have been able to work with students to arrange for future participation in the program, without additional fees.
