WKU School of Nursing MSN/DNP Cohort Programs: A partnership with Norton Healthcare

Western Kentucky University and Norton Healthcare have partnered to bring a unique opportunity to Norton Healthcare employees.

In Summer 2015, WKU will begin offering a program for nurses, with a bachelor's degree in a related field, to advance their career.

During the next 2 to 3 years, employees can obtain their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Nurse Administrator and/or their Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). This opportunity will be offered at a substantial discount.

Benefits of our Program

  • Structured class schedule
  • Combined path that gets you to your goal faster
  • All paths include a certificate from WKU in Leadership
  • Fixed rates -- so you continue to get a discount over normal tuition

How does it work?

The structured class schedule will be delivered primarily online with possible face-to-face opportunities offered through conference software and/or on-location at Norton hospitals.

The curriculum is projected to include 38 credit hours to obtain your MSN and only an additional 20 credit hours to complete your DNP.

These classes will be delivered in three terms (Fall, Spring and Summer) with no term requiring more than 3 classes at a single time.
