LPN to ASN Accreditation

LPN to ASN Accreditation

The ASN Program has been accredited since 1966 by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)(formerly called the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)), 3343 Peachtree Rd. NE Suite 500, Atlanta, GA 30326 (1-404-975-5000, www.acenursing.org).

The program also has full approval from the Kentucky Board of Nursing, which determines candidate eligibility for licensure. Applicants for licensure must provide necessary information regarding drug, alcohol, or conviction history for determination of licensure eligibility. The Kentucky Board of Nursing has the power to deny a nursing graduate the right to take the NCLEX-RN.
