WKU Dental Hygiene Students Receive Awards at KDHA

Bowling Green, KY- The Western Kentucky University Dental Hygiene Program recently participated in the Kentucky Dental Hygienist's Association (KDHA) annual meeting, earning awards for their presentations.

On Friday, March 10, all second year students of the WKU Dental Hygiene program participated in poster presentations at the KDHA annual meeting in Louisville, KY.  Two major awards were received at this meeting: Brittany Bird of Leitchfield, KY, received the Kentucky Dental Hygienists’ Association Award and Emily Daniel of  Bowling Green, KY, and Kennedy Duvall of Frankfort, KY, earned an overall third place finish for their poster presentation “The Root of Memory Loss.”
