Bowling Green, KY – The Delta Dental of Kentucky Foundation selected Western Kentucky University’s Institute of Rural Health (IRH) to receive a 2017 Delta Dental of Kentucky Foundation grant. The grant will be used to further service IRH clients in the rural communities of central Kentucky.
“We received an overwhelming number of proposals this year and were extremely impressed with the quality and scope of your proposal,” said Tammy York Day, Chief Operating Officer Delta Dental of Kentucky Foundation
The Delta Dental of Kentucky Foundation was created in 2004 to support projects and nonprofit organizations that promote oral health and dental education. In recent years, the Delta Dental Foundation also helped provide funding for the Western Kentucky University Mobile Health Van, which is used to provide preventative dental care to disadvantaged residents in the western part of the state.
