Three CHHS Graduate Students Recognized by Professional Associations

Three graduate students in the College of Health and Human Services were recently recognized by professional associaitons. The students are current graduate assistants in Intramural-Recreation Sports at WKU.
Cybbi Barton, Graduate Assistant of Sport Clubs, was selected by the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) to serve on the National Collegiate Soccer Championships Staff. Cybbi will assist with the daily operations of the national championships which are held in Phoenix, Arizona November 19-21, 2015. Cybbi is from Lubbock, Texas and is in the Recreation and Sport Administration Master's Program in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport.
Chrissy Strow, Graduate Assistant of Fitness, recently completed her Practical Pilates Certification with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of American (AFAA). Chrissy is from Haddon Heights, New Jersey and is in Master of Public Health Program with a concentration in Health Education.
Jordan Brown, Graduate Assistant of Marketing, received two “Markie Awards” from the Professional Marketing Association for his developing of a Mobile Ap and producing a program brochure for the department of intramural recreational sports. Jordan is from Corvallis, Oregon and is in the Recreation and Sport Administration Master's Program in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport.
