At the Annual District Meeting of the American College of Health Care Administrators in March (MI-IN-OH-KY-WV), two members with WKU’s HAS program connections received awards:
Alumna Heather O’Banion, an MHA graduate and current Executive Director of Village Manor Retirement Community in Bowling Green, was recognized as the Kentucky Chapter’s “New Administrator of the Year.”
Alumna and Department of Public Health Faculty Member, Melanie Eaton, received the Kentucky Chapter’s “Distinguished Service to ACHCA Award” for her leadership in involving WKU students in the professional society for long term care administrators.
