Learning Analytics and Professional Development
This unit supports faculty scholarship and the assessment of teaching and learning. The CITL promotes and coordinates workshops, training, and mentorship for faculty in the areas of research methodology, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, evaluation research, interdisciplinary research collaborations, effective communication of scholarly work, and preparation for tenure and promotion. The CITL also partners with the Office of Research and the Office of Sponsored Programs to offer workshops and training in the areas of competitive grant writing and proposal development. Finally, the CITL assists faculty in the development of research designs for program and/or course evaluation in collaboration with DELO's Online Learning Research Office (OLRO).
