Student Tools

Student Tools

No matter your situation or need, the Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) has the resources and skills to guide you toward success.  We've categorized some of these resources below based on the most common goals that students have.  These include networking and exploration, finding a job or internship, choosing a major, and applying to graduate school.  If you don't fit into one of these categories--or maybe you don't know where to start--please contact our office so that we can help you take control of your career development.

All of our services are completely FREE!

What is your goal?

Exploring and networking

This can include anything from joining a club, job shadowing, or counseling on professional etiquette and job market research.

Deciding a major

Choosing a major is often overwhelming, but the CCPD has the tools to help you make an informed decision.

Seeking an internship

Internships are a great addition to your resume and the CCPD can help you find and land the perfect opportunity.

Looking for a job

The CCPD can help with everything from the job search to the interview so that you can find full- or part-time work.

Applying to graduate school

Pursuing graduate school is a big step.  The CCPD can help you decide if graduate school is right for you and help you plan for and manage the application process.
