Ask about legal issues in recruiting.
Faculty and staff members with questions about legal guidelines for recruiting and providing references should contact the ACDC by calling (270) 745-3095 or email CareerHelp@wku.edu. A Faculty Guide to Ethical and Legal Standards in Student Hiring from the National Association of Colleges and Employers can also provide specific information in these areas.
FYI: As employers contact you to share job opportunities with students, please note that the ACDC provides a campus-wide job listing service that allows students fair and equal access to job notices. This service can be accessed through WKU's Handshake.
Partner with us for internships!
The ACDC is your first resource for internship-related information. Our office provides listings of internships and co-op opportunities via our online career portal Handshake. We also collect campus-wide internship data through our partnerships with academic departments and from the internship forms our office manages.
