Steve has thirty years’ experience teaching college-level Information Systems courses. Prior to retirement, he was a Professor at Elizabethtown Community & Technical College where he also served as the Computer and Information Technology Program Coordinator. He has taught part-time for WKU’s Information Systems Department for fifteen years.
He is also an independent IT consultant, providing IT support services to local businesses. Services include hardware diagnosis and installation, software installation, and network configuration as well as database configuration and support.
Steve served as a systems analyst for a Department of Defense project to automate recruiter functions in all the military services. He assisted in the design of network solutions as well as evaluation of candidate hardware and software products. He served as a technical member of the Project Manager staff with responsibility for coordinating and advising on Dept. of Defense documentation.
Steve also served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. He retired from the Army as a Tank Company First Sergeant.
