Graduate Program Information
The Master of Accountancy & Data Analysis (MADA) is an advanced program of study designed to provide students with an expanded understanding of accounting, data analytics and business by building on the foundation gained in an undergraduate accounting program. The program provides a graduate-level curriculum to accommodate the growing body of knowledge in accounting and equips accounting students with additional skills and competencies.
Our students learn R, SQL, SAS, Python and a variety of econometric and forecasting techniques. We teach our students how to work with complex data and how to use data to analyze real-world problems using economic theory. These skills allowed many of our students to find jobs as data scientists and data analysts in both businesses and government. The program also provides a good foundation for those students who are interested in advanced graduate studies: Our graduates went on to pursue Ph.D. in economics, finance and public policy.

The 12-hour Cybersecutiry Data Analytics graduate certificate is the study of cybersecurity defenses by using data analytics to support the principles of data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. In this program, students will learn to defend proactively and continuously improve the security of the enterprise with an emphasis on using data analytics. Students will also learn about cybersecurity policies and compliance issues from an information assurance and risk management perspective.
The 12-hour Data Analytics Graduate Certificate will prepare students in understanding how data is being used to drive decision making. Students will be exposed to the latest innovations in data analytics, data management, data mining models, and data visualization.
The 12-hour Economic Data Analytics Graduate Certificate will help prepare professionals for jobs in both public and private sector. Students will demonstrate advanced knowledge in quantitative economics disciplines including applied economic statistics, econometrics and time series forecasting, as well as data management skills.
The 12-hour Supply Chain Management certificate offers students the opportunity to develop much needed skills in organizations – in the areas of operations management, strategic procurement, sourcing and contract management, logistics, distribution, and warehousing.
