The Great American Meatout is celebrated across the globe on March 20th every year. Animal-welfare organization Farm Animal Rights Movement coordinates the campaign, educating the general public on the health, environmental, and ethical benefits of living cruelty-free. Organizers encourage people to give veganism a try, sharing that avoiding animal products for just two days will save 28 animals and 190,000 gallons of water per year.
Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wildlife Fund and is held annually, encouraging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 pm on a specific day towards the end of March, as a symbol of commitment to the planet.
Healthy Days is Western Kentucky University's student annual health fair where students can become more aware of their of their eight dimensions of wellness by participating in different activities offered at the fair! There will be chair massages, henna tattoo, photo booth, blood pressure screenings, wheelchair basketball, healthy snack demo and much more!!!
