Description:

Basic Fitness Assessment

 Location: Health and Fitness Lab

Clients are evaluated in six areas to determine their current level of fitness. Each area is compared to national norms to identify the clients’ strengths and to determine areas that may need a little work.

Estimated Length: 60 Minutes

Included:

Evaluation of current fitness level

Measurement of the effectiveness of a fitness program

Comprehensive fitness report with results

Consultation with a qualified fitness professional

Tests Included:

Blood Pressure

Body Composition

Cardiovascular endurance (submax treadmill test)

Muscular endurance (push up & partial curl up tests)

Muscular strength (grip strength test)

Flexibility (sit and reach test)

COST: Students- $5, F/S & Alum- $10, Community- $25
