Saturn's "Young" Rings

April 2nd - May 16th

Tuesday's and Thursday's at 7:00 p.m.

Sunday's at 2:00 p.m.

Recent analysis of data from the Cassini probe indicate that Saturn’s rings are comparatively “young.” But how young is this, actually? And "young" compared to what?

We take a look at the age of Saturn's rings in context of our lives, significant events in the history of the Earth, the formation of our Solar System, and the birth of our Universe in order to develop an understanding of what "young" actually means from a cosmic perspective.

Free of charge and suitable for all ages. 40 minute running time, with time for questions at the end of the presentation.  Please note that the show will begin on time, with no late entrance permitted.

Dont forget your WKU ID to recieve WellU® credit!
