Summer Fun for Kids Activities - Events

Comets, Asteroids, Meteors: Great Balls of Fire

Special Exhibit Presented by U.S. Bank

Looking for something to do during Spring Break? We have a special exhibit the kids are sure to love!

The threat of a catastrophic impact from an asteroid or comet is a staple of popular culture. What are the chances and how do we assess the risks? For that matter, what are asteroids, comets and meteorites, and where do they come from?

The exhibit is available now through May 10, 2015 and is included with regular admission.

Learn more online here.

The Museum is open daily, 8am-5pm CST and the exhibits included with regular Museum admission. $10 adults, $5 kids age 6-16, or $25 for everyone in a household. Student and group rates are available.

Stand for Children Day

The 18th annual Stand for Children Day will be June 18th at the Bowling Green Ballpark. You can learn more about the community event at www.commed.us.  Last year was one of the best years yet and we’d love for you to join us and provide an activity booth for the children in attendance and/or sponsor the event with a monetary donation.

Description: Stand for Children Day provides fun activities for children while providing information to families and caregivers about the benefits available in our community. Families, summer camps and child care centers bring children to play at countless booths and activities manned by area agencies and businesses. This free event is a wonderful way to celebrate the younger members of our community.
Date: June 18th 2015 at the Hot Rods Stadium Ball Park

Cost: Free!
