Dietetics Graduate Accepts Sports Dietitian Position

     Jamey Rice, a 2014 graduate of the Hospitality Management and Dietetics major in the Department of Applied Human Sciences, has just been offered and accepted the position of Sports Dietitian for the MARSOC special forces units at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  She says, "I am so incredibly excited to get started" in this new prestigious position.

     Ms. Rice completed her undergraduate degree at WKU, and went on to complete her Dietetic Internship at Murray State University.  She has been working in youth sports nutrition at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, until she accepted this new position.
