Tell us about your time at WKU.
I was a student at WKU from 2011-2015. I was heavily involved on campus life in Greek life, Spirit Masters, the Campus Activities Board, and Study Abroad just to name a few. I will always cherish my time on The Hill because of the friendships, memories, and experiences which helped me become a better person.
Advice for new Hilltoppers.
Seize every opportunity to be involved and to learn about the people around you. Force yourself to go beyond your comfort zone. WKU has so many experiences to offer that will enrich your time here on The Hill. You’ll be happy you did.
Why did you choose to attend WKU?
WKU was the perfect choice for me. It wasn’t too far away from home, but it was far enough away which gave me the space to discover my own strengths and weaknesses. The campus is warm and inviting, and there were so many resources offered to help me succeed. Initially, I was nervous about coming to WKU, but I was quickly reassured that there was no better place to be than The Hill!
What does the WKU experience mean to you?
The WKU experience is unmatched. While I was in undergrad, there was always an event somewhere on campus which meant opportunities to make friends, learn something new, and have fun (or get free food). From going to class to attending social events, WKU students get the full college experience. Unlike other schools that have campus buildings spread throughout the city, WKU is its own community. Everyone is always together which makes a great environment for students to thrive.
