Ms. Emma Looney
- Residential Counselor

Biography

I am the third floor ladies Residential Counselor for the 2019-2020 academic year. I graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in 2019 with a Bachelors of Arts in Human Services and Counseling and a Bachelors of Arts in Christian Ministries. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Kentucky University. While at Lindsey Wilson, I was involved in Residence Life where I worked as a Resident Assistant for three years. I also played an active role in campus ministry and was part of the track and field and basketball programs. I spent my summers serving at Camp Loucon Training and Retreat Center as Adventure Staff. Here, I worked with students in 2nd-12th grade and strived to create a safe environment that encouraged kids to be open, honest, and step out of their comfort zones.

In my spare time, I love spending time outside and hammocking with friends. You can typically find me listening to music or watching my favorite shows on Netflix. When I am able, I love finding the opportunity to go back to Loucon to volunteer, work retreats, or just have a time of self-reflection.

I am so excited to see what this school year has in store and look forward to meeting all the students.
