What is 15 To Finish?

15 to Finish is an awareness campaign that encourages Kentucky college students to graduate on time by completing at least 15 credits a semester, or 30 a year. Many full-time college students take less than 15 credit hours and don't finish in four years, adding the costs of extra semesters.  Don't lose a year or more in the workplace – a year's salary – by prolonging the completion of your degree.

Why take 15 credit hours or more a semester?

By taking at least 15 credit hours per semester, or 30 credit hours per year, you will finish college faster. The sooner you earn your degree, the sooner you can get going with your career and start earning money! Research shows that the longer you stay in college, the less likely you are to graduate.

Get going with your career

By 2020, 56% of Kentucky's jobs will require postsecondary education making degrees and credentials even more essential. Graduating on time with a college degree can make a big difference in the amount of money you earn over a lifetime.
