Catalog Description: Conversational Mandarin with basic grammar and functional vocabulary of the Chinese language. Includes aspects of Chinese culture.
Course Goals: Students are expected to acquire a basic understanding of the Chinese culture and rudimentary knowledge and skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing Chinese after this class.
