Task 4: Post Reading
You have now read The Polar Express, it will be fun to compare and contrast some of the events in the book with your own experiences.
1. The materials managers should print out the Venn diagram.
2. In "The Polar Express" Venn diagram list items associated with Christmas mentioned in the book. In the "My Experiences" circle list items, which are associated with your winter holiday. Remember, if some of your items are the same as those in "The Polar Express" circle; be sure to list those in the area where the circles overlap. Use "one word" responses whenever possible.
3. When the group has completed the task, the messenger should inform the teacher.
