AUTHOR

I have published over sixty scholarly works in textbooks, reference books, and in professional journals.  The professional articles appear in scientific journals found on the statewide, regional, national, and international levels.  (For a complete list of my scientific articles, please visit my VITAE link.)

In recent years however, I have broken out of the scientific research-writing mode, and have entered into the popular writing forum.  It is here that I wish to concentrate my future efforts.

My latest writing project involves the a new edition of a college textbook on the field of physical
geography.  This text is entitled "The Essential of Physical Geography," 7th. Edition, by Gabler,
Petersen, and Trapasso.  This book has been on the college textbook market since Fall 2003.  The 8th Edition will be available in 2006.

Since travel for me, is an obsession... I often write short, first person narratives (essays of sorts) about unusual places and situations.  Most of these stories have yet to be published, due in part, to a lack of appropriate literary outlets and connections.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHO IS PUBLISHING SHORT, USUALLY AMUSING ESSAYS AND STORIES???         PLEASE E-MAIL ME!
