Although I don't spend a lot of time in my office, I can be reached practically 24/7 since I live on my computer. If you need to contact me because you have a question about some aspect of the course or an assignment, please post it under the QUESTIONS? COMMENTS? on Blackboard's Discussion Board. After my office hours, I'd be happy to video chat with you using Yahoo Messenger. You also request a phone conference by making a post on under QUESTIONS? COMMENTS? The fastest way for you to reach me is via email; however, please save email communication for emergency. I check my messages several times a day, so normally I respond within a few hours.

Bio Sketch
I was born and raised in Budapest, when Hungary was still a communist country. As a child, I developed an interest in foreing languages, so when I was in grade school I decided to learn at least ten. I started with German, then Russian and Latin. After I started English, I never moved on to another language because I loved it so much. I loved the music of the language and things that were associated with it. After all, English was the language of rock and roll, the language of love and freedom. Suffice it to say, when I went to college, I chose English language and literature as my major together with Hungarian language and literature. I got my B.A. from the teacher Training College and my M.A. from Eötvös University or ELTE in Budapest. I had been teaching English as a second language at ELTE University for 17 years when I decided to pursue a doctoral degree and advance my career. Ph.D. programs were not available in Hungary at the time, so I came to the US in 1995. After seven hard years in the doctoral program, I received my doctoral degree in Rhetoric and Composition from the UNC-Greensboro. In 2001, I accepted a job at Western's English Department, and I've been here ever since.
