GOOD NEWS

I have been awarded the Wood Professorship by the English Department's Wood Committee for the 2007-2008 academic year. This means that I will be able to spend more time on my research because the award comes with a course load reduction and an a graduate research assistant. In my research project, I will investigate the impact of the integration of multimedia--especially video and podcast--on the learning experience of online students.

Check out TECHKNOWLEDG-E, the blog for instructors interested in technology innovations in the field of rhetoric and composition.
