The TechKnowledg-E Mini Conference on May 4, 2007 was a huge success. We had over 30 participants, representing a very diverse English teaching polulation. GOOD NEWS
I have been awarded the Wood Professorship by the English Department's Wood Committee for the 2007-2008 academic year. This means that I will be able to spend more time on my research because the award comes with a course load reduction and
an a graduate research assistant. In my research project, I will investigate the impact of the integration of multimedia--especially video and podcast--on the learning experience of online students.
