Biosketch

Dr. Snavely first joined the faculty at Western in 1998 as an Assistant Professor. After a two-year absence, Dr. Snavely rejoined the faculty in 2005 as Executive-in-Residence in Finance. She has taught courses in corporate finance, investments, portfolio management,  bank management, and real estate finance.

 

Dr. Snavely now teaches personal finance, principles of finance, applied investments and managerial accounting. She teaches at least one class at Western’s Elizabethtown campus with IVS broadcasts to Glasgow and Owensboro each semester.

 

Dr. Snavely teaches honors sections of both personal finance and principles of finance.

 

Dr. Snavely was honored to receive the Gordon and Glenda Ford Award of Faculty Excellence in 2008.
