Writing Center Fall 2003

For those of you not familiar with the Writing Center, I’d like to tell you about the services we offer WKU students. Graduate students in the English Department work as tutors in our Writing Center. If students need help getting started on a writing assignment, we can help them brainstorm for topics and help them understand the assignment. Once students have written a draft, we can suggest ways to revise and improve it. We can help students identify the errors they commonly make, so they can learn to proofread their own work. Our main location at 124 Cherry Hall is open

9am-4pm Monday–Wednesday,
10am-4pm Thursday,
and 10am-1pm Friday.

We also tutor in the reference room at Helm Library

9am-4pm Monday,
10am-4pm Wednesday–Thursday,
and 10am-1pm Friday
(no Tuesday hours at the library).
