So glad to hear from you two after so many years. I was just about to respond to Bentong when I got Brian's message. Brian said exactly what I wanted to say. And I believe Brian had spoken for all of us, we all feel the same.I must admit that I had never noticed this side of Bentong before, perhaps that's because we tend to overlook it when we were young.

Bentong, you are very lucky, and may be a target of envy, to have 4 kids, it's the greatest blessing of all, you are going to enjoy Er Sun Man Tang which is so rare among our generation. From your email I can see how proud and content your are with 4 kids around, literally around you, most welcome "trouble makers".

I was also deeply touched by what Bentong said about Teacher Wang, I still remember her smile and signature laughter. Somehow I always assumed our teachers know how we admire them and feel grateful to them even when they don't hear a word from us, not even a seasonal greeting. I hope they know we had never and will never forget them, and our gratitude to and admiration for them grow as we age, can you imagine now most of us are much older than our teachers were at that time.
