All About Me
Me with my new niece born on April 4,2005
Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Deanna Dennis, and I am a junior at Western Kentucky University. I was born as #6 of 7 children and raised on a farm in Grayson County. I attended Grayson County High School until my eleventh grade year, and I received my G.E.D. in August 1995.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Michael for fifteen years, and we have two lovely children Wesley (who is 14 years old) and Mallory (who is 12 years old). We reside on a 15-acre farm in Breckinridge County, and I am a substitute teacher in our county. Walking into an elementary school is a great experience and I love everyday that I get to work.
My dream has always been to become an elementary school teacher, and now being a junior at Western Kentucky University I can see my dreams coming true. I love being around children, and watching them learn is great.
I lost my mother when I was 19 years old, but then I realized she had left me with someone else to guide me through mother hood, my mother-in-law. Linda is an Elementary Teacher at Ben Johnson Elementary in McDaniels Kentucky, and she has been a great role model, friend and mother.
Having come this far in life I would like to thank a few people. My husband and children for never letting me give up. My grandmother-in-law for helping me by making sure my children had a great babysitter while I went to make my dreams come true. My sister Vee who has stood by me no matter what I have done and she will always be my sister, friend and a mother to me. Last but not least, my mother-in-law for always being by my side when I need her.
