Some Thoughts Concerning Religion

To me, religion is the search for truth about how and why the human race exists. Every person should be interested in these questions - this search is the most vital task of our lives. The complexity/order of our world and universe provides irrefutable evidence that there is a creator. After much thinking/reading/discussing, it has become clear to me that Christianity provides the correct answers to the questions of how and why the human race exists. God has answered my every prayer. He has blessed me beyond measure, He has forgiven me for my sins and shortcomings, and He has protected me completely. The fact that someone like me has been able to do research in theoretical mathematics is evidence enough for the fact that God has really helped me!

"To affirm that science and theology are mutually exclusive may be convenient for materialists unwilling to defend their philosophy, but it is untenable. Science is rarely religiously neutral. Similarly, religious faith is rarely scientifically neutral. Both science and theology frequently address cause and effect and processes of development in the natural realm. Both science and theology deal with the origin of the universe, the solar system, life and humankind."
