Just a few Ksp questions.

1. Write the Ksp expression for the following slightly soluble compounds:

(a) Cr(OH)3                Ksp = [Cr3+][OH-]3
(b) Pb3(AsO4)2          Ksp = [Pb2+]3[AsO43-]2

2. What concentration of Ba2+ can exist in a 0.150 M solution of Na2SO4?           Ksp (BaSO4) = 1.1 x 10-10

answer = 7.3 x 10-10 M

3. The Ksp for copper(II) hydroxide, Cu(OH)2, is 2.6 x 10-19. What is the molarity of OH- in its saturated solution?

answer = 8.0 x 10-7 M
