Down in the holler
Back in the hills
Right over yonder
That’s where I live
I might be in the field
Or at the front of the church
Over in a mud hole
Diggin’ in the dirt
Ridin’ that John Deere
And balin’ some hay
Fun for us comes at the end of the day
We’re not toothless and dirty as most people think
(Well not all of us)
We’re just a bunch of rednecks
Tryin’ to make our “baccer” grow
We’ll be alright
As long as it don’t snow
Round here we’re all family
So you better watch out
We ‘White’ folk got a temper
And you know what I’m talking about
Slip on your Redwings
And grab your carhart
Somebody left the gate open
And we gotta go to Wal-Mart
Leave the door unlocked
And the window’s wide open
Company’s comin’
And Daddy’s cookin’ might choke em’
Western plays tonight
So turn on the tube
But “why” you ask,
The other team’s gonna lose!
