I am from quilts
From neopets and Limited Too.
I am from the dark, back of the white couch
Thin and hard to get into.
I am from the little Lamb Ear, soft, low to the ground
The pear tree, large and scrawny.
I am from going hiking at grandma’s every Sunday and brown eyes
From Claire and Greg.
I am from don’t be sorry and just don’t do it.

From hush up dinco and lets play Auddey ball.
I am from the red robes of the choir
Shining like silk.
I am from the blue grass state and the home of the sleek corvette.
Pepperoni pizza and spaghetti.
From stories of mouse tales and
The billiards championship.
Photo albums filled with joy,
Staying with me in old age.
Now and forever.
That’s where I’m from.
