The Ocean

I love the ocean.
I see relaxed seagulls lazily drifting through the sky,
Snow white sand sparkling like diamonds,
A beautiful sunset peering over the water,
And the blue green water glistening like crystals.

I love the ocean.
I feel the delicate waves gently breaking at my feet
Like a licking dog machine,
The crusty texture of the sand oozing between my toes,
And the sun’s warming rays bearing down on me.

I love the ocean.
I hear pelicans diving for fish,
The breeze whistling in my ear,
And myself laughing with rapture
Because I’m so happy to be here.
