The national winners are in!
Congratultions to all who entered the Thirteenth Annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest.
Nationally, there were 40,000 entries from across the country. The winning stories as well as a story from each participating station will be on the refreshed Reading Rainbow PBS kids' wesite at pbskids.org/readingrainbow
Bowling Green kindergartener and local finalist Chloe Falica's "I Miss My Sister" book was selected to represent WKYU-PBS on the national website. Information about the 14th Annual Young Writers & Illustrators Contest will be available in January 2008.

receive a $100 savings bond, a Barnes and Noble gift

place winning entries in each grade category will
go on to compete with other winners from across the
country. the national winners will be announced in

An Honorary Mention for Illustration
and an Honorary Mention for Story in each grade category
is also awarded. These winners receive a $50 savings
bond, a Barnes and Noble gift certificate, and other
prizes.
