WKYU-PBS will be off-the-air during some daylight periods in December due to extensive tower work. We broadcast from the same tower as WBKO-TV and while workers are installing tower equipment for them, we must turn our transmitter off as well, for safety. The work will take place only during daylight hours and we will be back on the air in the evenings on those days. However, if you watch us on Insight channel 11 in Bowling Green, you won’t be affected by the outages because of a technical difference in the way our signal is delivered to that cable system. The exact schedule of the tower work is highly variable and uncertain due to weather and other factors, so we will post the latest, up-to-date information about these outages on our website as soon as we have it.
