The workshop is designed for local government elected officials and program staff, community-based organizations, non-profit organizations, volunteers and community leaders, government consultants, university faculty and staff, and MPA graduate students.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

pencil holderDr. Victoria Gordon is the Director of the Center for Local Government, in the Political Science Department of Western Kentucky University. Dr. Gordon has fifteen years experience in local government that includes successful grant writing and administration. Dr. Gordon also served as a full-time grant writer/reviewer for Lincoln University in Missouri.


This workshop will provide an intensive introduction into the process of grant writing and administration. Throughout the course a variety of topics will be covered, which will include:
