Snell Hall Renovation
The new Snell Hall, emerging in the same location of the old Snell Hall, will be devoted
entirely to the students. All four stories will contain exclusively Laboratories or classrooms for
biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics. The new building will feature two walkways joining
it to Thompson Complex Central Wing, with possible future plans to connect to the Complex of Engineering
and Biological Sciences. Started in July 2007, the $24 million project is slated for completion at the beginning of 2009.

Library Courtyard WebCam
Centrally located on WKU's main campus, the
Libary Courtyard has become a wonderful place for students to relax
and enjoy the historical surroundings. The fountain sits adjacent
to the Helm Library, originally the Health and Physical Education
Building, which was built as a gymnasium housing a health clinic,
a large band practice room and ROTC offices until being converted
into a library in 1965. The Courtyard's latest addition, Java City,
allows students to enjoy a cup of coffee while gazing at the Colonnade,
the University's original football stadium from the 1920's.
