University Experience Computer Lab
Located in Helm Library in Room 6C, this lab is exclusively for University Experience Students. This is the location for UC 175 face-to-face Library Skills Instructions. Students visit this lab with their UC 175 class to learn about the services offered to them through University Libraries. In addition, this lab serves as a working computer lab for all UC 175 students to complete papers and projects for all classes. The lab includes 24 Dell GX 270 machines with flat screen monitors. Available software includes Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and Excel as well as the World Wide Web. For the Fall 2006 semester, the UE Computer Lab is open to students Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:30pm until 4:30pm. UC 175 Instructors are encouraged to use the UE Computer Lab when course topics require access to computers and/or the Internet. Instructors are welcome to contact Sara McCaslin to schedule a class meeting in the UE Computer Lab.
