Tegrity Basic Functions, May-August, (one-on-one Tegrity          Demonstration)        

This workshop is designed to introduce you to Tegrity Campus 2.0 and its basic functions. You are welcome to come to our studio or to request an on-site demonstration of Tegrity Campus 2.0. If you are interested in having a member of our staff to go to your office, set up the required equipment for you to use Tegirty as well as to present the system capabilities, please register to this event by suggesting a date and time here . A member of our staff will contact you to confirm with you the details.

Tegrity Advanced Tools, May-August, (one-on-one Tegrity         Advanced Demonstration)

This workshop will demonstrate the new features in Tegrity: Uploading a class as audio file, embedding video inside a recording, reports,etc. Showcases of Tegrity classes will be presented. Course Design, Date : May 20 (11:00am - 12:30pm)

This workshop will cover practical elements of course design focusing on the Quality Matters rubric, a tool to incorporate best practices in your online course design. Ideas and examples on ways that you can improve the design of your online course will be presented.

Assessment Using Blackboard, Date:May 21(11:00am - 12:30pm)

Assessment Using Blackboard workshop covers the pedagogical aspects of assessing students (Bloom's taxonomy) and the tools available in Blackboard to implement such assessment strategies. Information regarding the Testing Center services for proctored exams will also be presented.

Evaluating/Improving online Course, Date:August 5 (11:00 am          -12:30pm)

This workshop will focus on the use of the Quality Matters Rubric for improving your online course. The task-based nature of this workshop requires participants to have an already developed online course that have been taught at least one semester. You will need to have your course accessible in Blackboard (Ecourses).

Implementing Project Oriented Learning, Date: August 6          (11:00am-12:30pm)

This workshop is offered in collaboration with FACET and presents the theoretical aspect of implementing POL. Reasons for implementing POL, forms of POL and common assumptions and mistakes will be covered. Ideas on ways to design POL for online environments will be presented.

All our workshops are held in Garrer Conference Center, room 105 (GCC 105).
