Walking On Campus

The easiest way to get around campus is to walk. While the map may make the campus seem huge, it's not as big as you might think. From the Downing University Center (DUC), you can walk almost anywhere on campus in 10 minutes! Plus, walking campus helps to reduce stress and avoid the "freshmen 15"!

Escort Service

The Escort is an on-campus service provided to WKU students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors. Individuals are encouraged to contact this service in lieu of walking alone especially during evening or early morning hours. The service is free and is part of the security precautions instituted at WKU. Escorts will be provided from dusk until dawn by calling the WKU Police Department at 745-2548.
