Proctoring Fees: The WKU DL Testing Centers do not charge a fee; however, the WKU Remote Proctoring Network includes both proctor locations who charge for proctoring services as well as those who do not charge. Students are responsible for payment of any proctoring fees if they choose to use a proctor who charges a fee for this service. Students are also responsible for any additional fees that might be associated with the use of a particular proctoring site, such as parking fees.

Proctoring Fees: We ask that faculty consider placing a statement in their syllabus regarding the possibility of proctor fees for students who need to use a remote proctoring location,such as the following:

This form is for a WKU semester-based student who is requesting an offsite (KY, another state, international) proctored exam

Before you begin, please note:

Independent Learning Students — DO NOT USE THIS FORM. Click "Student Exams" on the left side of this page and then select your appropriate exam preference (IL student - onsite or IL student - offsite) from the sub-menu.
Students who are taking online courses from WKU but wish to take their exams at an offsite location must:
1. FIRST make an appointment for testing at their chosen proctored site.
- Preapproved proctor sites in Kentucky and in the United States.
- Students who want their exam proctored at a site not on the list of preapproved proctors (including international sites) will need to make arrangements with a local community college or university.

Proctor Information

You will need to make arrangements with a local community college or university. Approved supervisory personnel include directors of independent study programs, directors of testing or counseling services, directors of admissions, or academic deans. Non-administrative faculty members would not be approved to receive and administer these exams. Students on active duty in military service, or their dependents, may take examinations under the supervision of their base education officer or someone designated by that officer.
