"Words don't mean, people mean."
1. The organization of material helps us to grasp and remember the material. Example: Ask the class to put jumbled key points in a logical order.
2. Use visuals (add color).
3. Use lots of examples.
4. Lecture for 30 minutes, divide the class into groups. Have them write what they heard or important points. Place the points on the board and review.
5. Use games to help them learn.
"Two directional communication is a formula for failure."
1. Close the distance when communicating.
2. Paraphrasing reveals understanding.
3. Ask groups to make a list of the most confusing parts of a lecture or points that need to be reviewed.
