We All Learn : Using Web Resources for e-learning

Shana Pack, Department of Psychology, Glasgow Campus

Introduction:

Technology has made the world smaller and larger at the same time. It has brought people together across oceans and continents, yet has opened up worlds of opportunity, especially through distance education. In this seminar, we will explore ten areas of potential Web sources for online teaching and learning. I will use the WE-ALL-LEARN framework for classifying learning technologies proposed by Curtis J. Bonk (2009) in his book, The World is Open: How Web Technology is Revolutionizing Education. This Web seminar will attempt to hit the highlights and relate material that might be most useful to faculty.
