Teaching Students from Varied Cultures
Co-sponsored by FaCET, WKU’s Office of International Student and Scholar Services, and Thompson Rivers University
Both American and Canadian campuses are seeing an increase in international students each year. In this online seminar, we’ll view a series of four videos created by Thompson Rivers University (Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada) and then discuss with colleagues from both TRU and Western Kentucky University (Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA) ideas and techniques offered for consideration in the video.
Please note: The videos may take a while to download from the links in each section; you will need to not use your computer for anything else while they download, and this make take 30 minutes or longer. However, if you are a participant from WKU, you can log-in to Blackboard, click My Organizations, and choose Teaching@WKU. The videos are in the Mini-Courses area under Understanding the Student, Culturally Diverse Learners.
