The Special Needs Summit is an event for parents, caregivers, professionals, staff, and students who have an interest in the special needs community. The theme this year is Today's Vision, Tomorrow's Reality. Workshops will be offered on various topics relating to special needs. The keynote speaker is motivational speaker Mitchell Tolle, and his topic is titled "The Loftiest Dream."
Workshops will be offered to parents, caregivers, professionals, and students on topics relevant to special needs. Topics include:
- Early Intervention to Improve Gross Motor Development Delays
- Legal Planning for Protecting Government Benefits Available to Persons with Special Needs
- Special Needs Financial Planning and Advising
- Behavior in Schools, a Round Table Discussion
Vendor tables providing information on community resources and services will be available.
CEUs/Early Care Education hours/EILA Credits/First Steps Provider Choice Training Hours will be offered. CEUs applied for include Physical Therapy, Social Work, Nursing, and Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. Click here for more information.

Registration will take place from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Lunch will be provided.
