Introducing an Exciting New Early Entry Program at WKU’s Community College!

The WKU Bowling Green Community College will offer classes
July 7 - August 7 at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Course Offerings Include:

Fundamentals of Composition DENG 055C (3 credit hours)
Intensive course in the basic mechanics of writing, reading, and grammar, designed to prepare students for college-level work in English.
College Reading Strategies DRDG 080C (3 credit hours)
Preparation for reading at the college level. Emphasis is given to vocabulary recognition, comprehension, inference, and differentiation of reading requirements as related to different courses.
Basic Algebra Skills DMA 055C (3 credit hours)
Designed to assist students whose background in algebra is inadequate for success in Intermediate Algebra (DMA 096C) or for those who did not take Algebra I in high school.
Intermediate Algebra DMA 096C* (4 credit hours)
Prerequisites: Satisfactory score on ACCUPLACER test or Math Placement Exam; or completion of DMA 055C with a grade of ā€œCā€ or better. For those students needing algebra who do not have the prerequisite for MATH 116 or 118.

*For students who successfully complete Math 096C this summer, spots will be held in Math 116C for the fall semester.
