Study Abroad Ambassadors

Savannah Pennington

Savannah Pennington is an enthusiastic sophomore here at WKU who is currently double majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Theatre. As a member of the Honors College at Western, Savannah strives to keep a (nearly) pristine GPA while pursuing her other goals.

A native of Madisonville, Kentucky, she is passionate about Study Abroad. Last fall she attended Harlaxton College in Grantham, England. In addition to traveling across England, she has also ventured to Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy. If you were to ask Savannah about her most exciting Study Abroad experience, she would have to tell you about the time that she travelled alone, across Belgium to Henri-Chappelle—the cemetery where her great-grandfather is buried.

Back at home Savannah enjoys such pastimes as baseball, Pat Conroy novels, John Wayne movies, and spending time with the love of her life—her Pug, Oedipus.
